Doesn't look very good at this point. They will be down to 4-4, last game a loss to an 0-7 team, and with the schedule as it is they could very well finish with losing records in back-to-back seasons. 13-3 looking like a huge fluke right now.

If the team does finish under .500 I'm 100% for getting rid of both of them.
Yeah, MM is done. Just not an NFL HC at all. TT gets one more year in my opinion, but usually I think the GM and the HC would go together in this type of situation. I thought there was some talent here, but it sure doesn't look like it.
Ted screwed the pooch on the OL. But this team has way too much talent to be this piss poor on ST's, penalties, and flat out horrible play calling.

TT isn't going anywhere next year. MM can pack his fat ass.

No way. Why doesn't Thompson get the benefit of a doubt and McCarthy doesn't? Thompson has had five full off-seasons to put an offensive line together. Complete failure there. He had a ton of cap space and a top trade chip in Kampman to re-work the defensive front seven after switching to a 3-4. Complete failure there.

Thompson can't even fix the punter position.

He deserves to be on the same hot seat at McCarthy.

They did in the first half and got virtually no pressure because they don't have the players to do it.
Looks like TOG is getting two of his wishes---beats the Packers, MM is likely to be gone-----only question is if TT can hang on. Given that the utter failure of our offensive line picks is on him, why should he stay?
This is about as embarrassing as it gets--MM needs to go and he can take his ****ty offensive line coach and ZBS with him. Running the football shouldn't be this hard, but MM has made it thermonuclear dynamics.
Rodgers isn't the friggin' problem. Do you want him to throw the ball away every time he drops back? Receivers have to be open for him to throw it.

How about calling some f'ing pass plays where a receiver gets open.

Are you on drugs? He and the receivers are the strength of this team and the guy is YOUNG! Were you one of those folks I used to battle with who wanted favre cut in 1993? Roll Eyes

Congrats. You're way way way out in front for the dumbest post of the year.
I'm 100% for Thompson and McCarthy being gone. The clock struck midnight on these two clowns today in Tampa. What a joke! Thompson's inability to draft a team costs him double because of his refusal to use the cap space to find other draftees. And McCarthy totally is a joke.
Hell, I would give Holmgren the keys and that means getting rid of both MM and TT. Seriously, could it get any worse?

There is no way McCarthy should survive this season. In all reality, TT probably should not be far behind and I've been one of his biggest advocates but this team is trending downward.
You need your head examined if you think TT with 3 years remaining on his deal is going to get fired.

MM OTOH is done. It's quite clear he cannot coach a football team.

I'm beginning to wonder if Farve just flat out disobeyed MM on certain occasions during the 13-3 season
At this point they will be lucky to finish .500. They have 8 games left, none of them anyone would consider "winnable" except for maybe Seattle at home. Heck not even beating Detroit on Turkey Day should be considered winnable considering they lost to the worst team in the league today not named the Cleveland Browns.

Figure another 6-10 type campaign. At that point TT will have had 1 winning season in 5 and 1 winning season in 4 for MM. Both need to hit the road. Who gives a rip if they have time left on their contracts. You're only delaying the inevitable.
