Credos to those who can still live in the cold. My parents are in their mid 80s and still live in WI. It's 60 degrees here in AZ and I'm kinda cold. Mind boggling.

My wife and her family are from Iowa. They lived in Hudson for awhile, then my mother-in-law moved to the Quad Cities area, father-in-law to Liberty which is around Iowa City. Now her brother, mom and dad all live out here.

I have never been colder than when I was in the desert. Yeah, 60 you're kind of pussing out.
Florida, most uncomfortable cold even if it's only for a month tops. Humidity isn't gone, it's just clammy. Like being wrapped in a cold towel.
When it gets below zero all I can think about is having to wrench on some piece of busted equipment outside. Busted knuckles from a slipped wrench. So damn cold it doesn't even hardly bleed.
You should never get excited about high end boots and coveralls for Christmas when you're friggin' 12 but I was.
Try working on a roof on a freezer when it's -10 out. You go inside the actual freezer to warm up. Only good thing is the product isn't thawing so you got time to get it fixed!
