Just a friendly reminder, Matthew flippin' Stafford is in the Super Bowl.
Whatever could be the common denominator?

They definitely beat the Niners with competent special teams.
I'm not sure they beat the Rams in a rematch last week. They had enough trouble with the Niners pass rush. I'm not sure the offensive line wouldn't have just been overrun by Von Miller and Aaron Donald.
That ACL tear that Bakh suffered last year may have cost them two Super Bowl appearances. Combined with losing Jenkins, it was too much.
Up until Week 17 last year, they were starting three All-Pros on the offensive line in Bakh, Jenkins, and Linsley alongside Turner and Wagner. In the Niners game, they started Turner and four different guys than the year before.
Why the fuck did they start Turner? That is the fuvking question that should be answered.
He'll be back. Why wouldn't he?
They'll go all in, again. Why wouldn't they?
The only reason he wonât be there is if he doesnât want to be there.
Is this where I post about special teams?

I hope they move him for what many have said should be multiple picks and players. Three straight years of 13 wins and nothing to really show for it. What's the point of keeping him around for a possible 11 or 12 win season and then parting ways with no return. I don't believe he's as singularly focused on football as Brady, which helped make TB so unique in terms of longevity. I'd rather see them take a step back for a year or two and then leap forward with tons of young talent and a healthier cap situation.
SMH-Rodgers played bad this last game there is no doubt. But like Brady the year before who played horrible, his defense bailed him out. It is always left to Rodgers bail out the horrible defense or special team blunders and can never count on them to bail him out when he isnt balling out his ass. SMH

His defense did bail him out, gave up two field goals. A team with a HOF qb should expect to win when, despite poor special teams, they give up only 13 points and are playing at home.

Looks like Aaron Rodgers and David Bakhtiari are doing some offseason training together once again.

Tell me you have no idea of how/why the contract was restructured in 2021 without telling me you have no idea of how/why the contract was restructured in 2021.
They freed up extra money in 2021, basically pushing more money into 2022. The original 2023 year is voided.
Man why doesn't Rodgers just focus on football. How dare he... read books... do a 45 minute weekly segment on McAfee w/ his homey AJ Hawk... date women who we've kind of heard of that probably don't even hang around Green Bay. Dude even takes vacations in the offseason. It's obvious to everyone here, being of sound football IQ, and knowing Rodgers on a personal basis, that he just doesn't take his job seriously.
He needs laser-like focus like Tom Brady. Sure he dated and married the world's most famous supermodel, and has a bunch of kids... but like when he's kissing his kids all weird on the lips, it's because in his brain he's thinking of kissing a football. And if his kids' lips are too firm he yells for the equipment guy to deflate them. He actually doesn't even know he has kids, he thinks of that shit that little, his agent primarily raises them.
When he touches his wife, in his mind's eye he sees Rob Gronkowski, imagining massaging his flesh so he's just that little bit quicker and smoother to the seam come gamdey. No distractions, just 24/7 football brain and training. This man selflessly made the highest career earnings in NFL history, leaving endless piles of cash for his teammates, which he could have taken to have even highererest earnings.
I don't even think Tom's teams had Special Teams coordinators, he just glares at the unit as they trot out on to the field and quietly but sternly says, "don't disappoint me, or the football". And then they don't mess up. Because all they need is one man, one God-Emperor-Quarterback to inspire them.
If we don't trade Rodgers to the Broncos for their next seven 1st round picks, and all their best players, who we in turn tag and trade for even more 1st round picks it's nothing short of football malpractice. Trust me I'm an NFL part-owner, got a certificate and everything.

And that makes the chance of Rodgers walking after 2022 with the Packers getting nothing in return 0.00%.
Yet, you felt the need to point out they can't allow something that's not going to happen to happen.
Just got a notication on my phone that Rodgers will be announcing tomorrow that he will be returning to the Packers next year.
Source?

Duh.

And as @RobDemovsky pointed out, we now know who's winning MVP tomorrow night. Rodgers has to have been told for purposes of a speech, so apologies to any Jonathan Taylor fans from Wisconsin.

I miss golf.
Typical Rodgers, playing golf which is not football. Brady would never play not football. He should instead be doing that teambuilding thing where he closes his eyes and falls backwards and Lazard catches him so that he trusts Lazard to catch the ball.
These days Iâm a Golf fan first.
Was I banned? While I consider myself hardy, even I don't feel like playing golf inside Satan's asshole that is the Upper Midwest in winter.
You should choose your words more carefully. I feel bullied if not uncomfortable.
Are there laws for being made to feel uncomfortable yet?

That's a legit doff of the cap.
Going to be some fun golf stuff in PHX this week.
I've had more fun at pro golf tournaments than any other pro sport.
Even if you hate golf, go to a pro tourney.
Edit: You should probably be a fan of alcohol.
Double edit: And women. Can't say I met a lot of gay dudes at tourneys so probably not men unless you like the view or alcohol, then definitely.
