These days I am an A-Aron Rodgers fan first.
Wonder if Duhvante gets the tag. Or a mega deal on the way for him.
Bye Bye Z and a few others to free up DuhVante money

Good news/bad news. Beating MIN, CHI, DET on a regular basis but probably no SB. I'm learning to live with that.
@packerboi posted:So what kind of trade value does our boy Jordan have? It's a weak QB class in 2022.
I'd be thrilled if Gute can get a 2nd rounder out of a trade. But I am not holding my breath.
Youth, potential and rookie contract might get us the 4th back?
Hard to say...part of me thinks they hang on to him for insurance...but another part of me says his agent will demand a trade to a team where he can get a shot at being QB1.
Denver has a ton of picks from the Vonn Miller trade...they need a QB, and if they like him enough a 2nd isn't an unreasonable ask...or perhaps a 3rd that can become a 2nd if he becomes the starter.
Of course, Hackett knows all of his warts, so that will determine a lot.
Maybe Indy is a landing spot...
Maybe keep himâĶcheap, he knows the system and who knows, he may be good in the end. And, if this means they are âall inâ they will not need to use a draft choice on a QB.
Well shit.
Go Pack!
The #Packers have no choice but to trade Jordan Love now. The draft isn't strong at the QB position and the free agent market is even worse, so rather than play out the final two years, they should deal him right now. https://t.co/jzvOFvgQRw

I'm good with it too. There's a lot worse things than continuing to be in the hunt the next 3-4 years. The whole trade scenario was tempting, too.
So I guess we are about to see what all in looks like. Green Bay style.
I'm assuming there will be a couple of voidable years at the end of this for some early cap relief.
Another stock sale coming up!!!

Aaron fell in our lap 17 years ago; Packers affirmatively traded up to get Jordan Love two years ago. I thought the transition would be two years to Jordan, not three years as we did with Aaron.
Perhaps this says more about Jordan than Aaron.
More to come...
Of course it does- it's a tacit admission from the organization that they feel their evaluation of Love was incorrect.
Iâm just glad itâs over. This gives them a window to compete now and weâll see how the roster ends up.
All in now letâs win the damn thing already.
Fell in our lap!!!! I remember the days that that idea was ridiculed here.
There will be a lot of talk about how Jordan Love was a wasted draft pick.

The Packers drafted a QB late in the 1st round when their current QB1 was age 37, as any team should.
The QB1 still being a league MVP heading toward age 39 is INCREDIBLE. GB did everything right here.
I have to try one of those cleanses too. It seems to do wonders for the bank account.
Spoiled by success. Even without the titles we have hoped for.
The Bares have had 35 starting quarterbacks since that 1992 season when Favre took over in Green Bay.
I wonder if itâs a four year deal or a âFour yearâ deal? It sounds like itâs basically a year-to-year, so two more, two voids and Love starting on his 5th-year option also a possibility. That would also give Love a similar three full offseasons to develop.
@MikeTanier: Four more years of #Packers and Rodgers. I am not sure if I just lost an election or just won one.
Pat McAfee said it's not 4 years 100m, his source is Rodgers.
McAfee indeed confirming on his show that he talked to 12 this morning. Then he throws this inâĶ

Meanwhile we have Demovsky and MacAfee going at it. (This 6th grade drama has been going on for days)

Tagging Adams allows them to buy a little more time to work out a longer term deal. No big surprise there.
The stunner with Aaron Rodgersâ reported new deal isnât money â the 2-time reigning MVP should be leagueâs highest-paid player â but years. Four-year deal will extend through Rodgersâ age-43 season. Thatâs the biggest part of all this. His legacy heading toward #Packers for life.

So what do we get for Love? 2nd rounder? With this news, especially the money and the length, he's definitely getting traded.
Love and #28 to Denver for #9 ?
Many draftniks are saying that the 2022 draft class for QB is the weakest in memory. And that Love is better than any of them.
My dream is that Gute flips Love for a 2022 first rounder, then trades his two firsts for a shot at getting DT Jordan Davis from Georgia. A dream, mind you.
Just need someone to fall in Love with Love.
For the Love of God
It appears to be a weak QB draft.
Take a flyer on Brock Purdy in R6
Rodgers has said for a decade how special it is to spend an entire career with one franchise, and that's something he aspired to. But I guess that doesn't drive clicks much.
Now I betcha they trade him to Denver

If Gute can turn his 2020 1st and 4th round picks into a 2022 2nd rounder that would be the steal of the offseason.
Is anyone, anywhere seeing that any NFL team that is willing to give up anything for Jordan Love?
