It's because Kizer was their QB.
But who picked Kizer?
"Aaron Rodgers, he throws that back-shoulder throw so well, and Dez [can have] great chemistry with a good quarterback that can put the ball wherever he wants.â
Thought that was the most interesting comment Witten made. Sorry Dak.
Dak owes half his check to EE.
And the other half the the offensive line.
Packers place Filipo Mokofisi on retired list.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Ham and Eggs?
Clean up in aisle 54.
Filipo, we hardly knew ya.
Retired because, like, heâs 65 and itâs mandatory? Cuz thereâs no way that guy is/was a player.

More next week, it's my 74th.I assume you meant 74th birthday. If so, HAPPY BIRTHDAY. And not 74th catch in your fantasy league, or 74th victory in your fantasy league, or 74th Krolls hamburger, or ..........
Yup, 74th BD although I could go for 74 Krolls.
Best I can do here is Culvers.

I hope he's not like a certain ex-QB who used to retire and then come back... and then retire... and then come back... etc. etc. etc.
Go get him Gute! High quality player!
Eagles releasing veteran LB Mychal Kendricks, per source. Kendricks spent six years with Eagles; heâs not expected to be unemployed long.

Aaron Rodgers already impressed with Jimmy Graham: "The guy is pretty damn talented. Heâs got some different elements we havenât had around here in a while with his ability to read coverages very quickly. He catches everything with his hands. Weâre pretty excited about him."

Way to throw the other TEs under the bus, AR.
Well so far Jimmy hasn't made up a BS story that allows him to get him released and sign with the Patriots. So he's got that got that in his favor so far over some of the previous TEs that have been here.

Whatâs the deets? Contract?
My guess would be FA is done until Rodgers contract clears the bank.
And Vikings catch footballs with their ass.
in their ass? Welp, the hole is wide enough for it to stick.....but....will replay indicate it was a catch? You know, completing the process and all.
You gotta suck it up and move on.
Somebody roll up a newspaper, one of the animals wet the rug again...
Packers bringing in FA TE Marcedes Lewis for a visit. Somewhat limited as a pass catching threat now. But heâd become the best blocking TE in GB. Could be a good depth addition at TE if the price is right.
I bet his pass catching abilities improve after leaving Jacksonville. Iâm down with this move.
Let him fight it out with Emmanuel Byrd for the 3rd TE spot.
Lewis would be a welcome blocking TE on short yardage plays...like him better than Lance Kendricks for the #2 spot
Lewis has been signed.
Nice. TE is now a strength.
Good job GutenOpieLover
Must be trying to up the average age of the team
Pack picks up a nice blocking TE. Much needed depth.
Thatâs a very good signing. Great blocking TE.
Seems to be a Red Zone theme building. Another 6â6â target.
Heck yeah.
does kendricks fit our system? seems like he dropped off in philly with the $$ he was making. hey wait we have a few of those already...
Pre-Burks I'd have loved Kendricks but they'd likely fill the same role and only one's making rookie money.
Upon further time to think about Lewis. This is a great signing. Lewis wonât get worked by any DE or OLB in the run game. Heâs most comfortable outside RT. Which is perfect. He makes Graham tougher to cover because heâs a mismatch nightmare in 2 TE sets with Graham.
In short. Heâs Jared Cook if Cook could block while playing with Jimmy Graham.
This is a very, very good bit of work by Gute.
TE position now so nicely stacked. *sigh*
Contract details? I believe his last contract was 3.5 Million.
*So nice*
Dumba$$es - depth at the TE position is irrelevant because the Vikings have beaten the Packers the last two times they played and 4 of the last 5. The fact that the Packers went 10-1-1 in the previous 12 is irrelevant because, well, because it doesn't fit a Viking fan's argument.
*sigh*
From jso...
GREEN BAY â The Green Bay Packers are getting some help at the tight end position with the addition of former Jacksonville Jaguars veteran Marcedes Lewis, who announced the news Thursday via a photo of him signing a contract on Instagram.
