The Green Bay defense will be better with the subtraction of Morgan Burnett. He's AJ Hawk without the long hair.

The guy was supposedly "steady", a "leader" blah, blah, blah.

What he really was is a guy who never made a play, was always half a step late and didn't impact a game from a position designed to impact the game. I thought he was infuriating! Nothing but a tease. He'd almost get there but never, ever would.

Too slow and not quick enough and like Brady Poppinga, he had arms made of teflon. He'd slide right off offensive players while trying to make a tackle.

ATTHEMURPH, harsh assessment...and one I agree with.  Had much higher hopes for him when we traded up to draft him.  Will never forget his best game, which was also his worst:  Intercepting Russell Wilson multiple times in the 2014 NFC Championship Game, but then talking a knee on his last one instead of running it back as far as he could.  I don't care if Julius Peppers supposedly told him to go down or not.  How stupid could you be?  A J.R. Smith type moment.  Will never forgive him for that.

open wound treatment

Clean gauze, mild solutions, and sterile tweezers are best for cleaning open wounds.

Using the right open wound treatment can mean the difference between quick recovery and prolonged healing, excess scars, intense pain, increased risk of infection, or more. Unfortunately, a number of misconceptions and confusions surround open wound care, mostly due to persistent common wound treatment myths and old wives’ tales.

To help set the record straight and ensure that you will have a favorable healing process, here are some of the right and wrong strategies to use when managing your open wound treatment....

Yes! He's going to be a future all-pro. Trust me.

I also think he'll be the catalyst to a future dynasty that's similar to what the Pack had in the 60's under Lombardi.  Either that or maybe he'll just be a solid rotational sub.

I'm guessing he must be of Ghanaian descent, or else Goalline wouldn't have such a man-crush on him.

I doubt it, actually. Probably Senegalese. Senegal. Where Reggie Whites are created.

Not familiar with him, but I'm guessing this means Jahri Evans won't be back?

Good snippet from espn:

"I had to cut my mama's grass," he said. "They were giving me a hard time upstairs, but that's just life. I didn't get it how I wanted to get it, but the Lord blessed me. I don't need the fancy things. I've got a used truck, and I just want to work. That's just me. That's how I was always raised. I didn't have a cell phone growing up. I didn't have a car in college. I figured it out. I graduated, whatever it takes. That's just life. Even when I'm done playing football, I have to figure it out and continue my life after football, I guess. But as long as I'm a Packer, I'm just going to work hard. Wherever I'm needed, I'm going to do it. Since 2011 to now, I just continue to work. That's just the guy I am."

At minimum he'll be a good locker room presence.  Capable back up at worst.

Packers pick up G Ethan Cooper off of waivers from the NY Giants.  T Kyle meadows was turned out to pasture to make room for Cooper.

Looks like Cooper was released by the Giants to make room for 3rd round supplemental draft pick Sam Beal.

So, Gute manages to upgrade the Pack thru the supplemental draft process without giving up a pick.  Jeenyous!

Gute picked up an undrafted free agent who wasn't deemed good enough to be on the Giants' 90-man roster. Give him the Executive of the Year award right now.

Time will tell on Cooper. I do give Gute a lot of credit for purging the roster of dead weight like Janis, Burnett and Rodgers. All three would have been easy and affordable to resign but not the right move if you're attempting to get better.
