And if he does want out that's fine... but he's getting paid enough money to just STFU and endure the last three months of his time here without being a distraction. The only thing he's doing is hurting his value when he hits the free agent market this off season. Might want to exert some effort in other phases of the game like blocking or pass protection. He's not a guy who wants to be an excellent football player, he's a guy who wants to be a star. Take that ish to Cleveland and have a nice life of obscurity and delusion. There's no I in team but there is one in Finley.
so what will the Mouth come out with today after his less than worldly performance in front of his hometown crowd? does he support his fellow players in a blowout win on the road and show enthusiasm for the big nights of JJ and Jordy or do we hear more about his chemistry lab? for some reason I doubt that he shuts the piehole and hunkers down.

Also, probably going to catch some flack for this, but I am starting to wonder if Raji is worth a big money deal.. Had a great year in 2010, but hasn't been the same since. The problem is Pickett is probably gone after this year and there is no other true nose on the roster.

He's got $4.45 million on salary plus a $3.5 million roster bonus due in march.

He'll be cut at the end of February.
Twas a smart and shrewd deal TT last did with Finley . . . 2 yrs. It was widely opined on here and it has proven to be true that in the two yrs it would be clear what the next play with Finley would be. He chose the path he has traveled, now he can choose his next team next March.

Agree on Raji. Underwhelming since the championship season. Would love to see him remain with the Packers, but not at big $$$.

Give the big money to AR12 and the Bloodline. Those two guys are consistently excellent and the guys to continue to build this team around.
I'm starting to wonder if this athletic ability Finley had is gone. He doesn't get the separation he used to (evidenced by the push off). And when he does get separation, he can't catch.

He was supposed to be an athlete on the level of Jimmy Graham, Aaron Hernandez and Rob Gronkowski, but when you watch the tape, Finley isn't even close anymore. Did his knee injury from 2010 sap his athletic ability?

He's a pouter, diva, pooswah... He dropped the pass last night and Rodgers came right back to him at the goal line, only to have the DB all over Finley, who to me looked like he was not going full speed. After the drop and then the miss at the goal line he did not get another target.

3rd Quarter
2-20-HOU 21 (10:14) (Shotgun) 12-A.Rodgers pass incomplete short middle to 88-J.Finley (29-G.Quin).
3-20-HOU 21 (10:09) (Shotgun) 12-A.Rodgers pass incomplete deep middle to 88-J.Finley (29-G.Quin) [94-A.Smith].

when you whine and cry as much as he/agent does, sure looks like something's up behind the scenes ...
He's Rickey Dudley 2.0. Another 6'6" 255 lb freak out of Texas that everyone expected to dominate but never did. Finley's better than Dudley, but not by much. Both have hands of flagstone.

After 5 years of giving Dudley every opportunity to produce the Raiders sent him to Cleveland for next to nothing.

Finley's career path looks pretty similar.
I don't know, he seemed destined to be a slam dunk top 3 TE for awhile there, just hasn't been the same since the knee injury. As far as the drops, I really just don't get it, is it solely a confidence issue? The bigger issue to me is his complete inability to get open like he did before the knee, I mean defenses could not cover the fricken guy, and I remember Rodgers saying at one point that Finley had the best hands on the team, his fall has been so strange.
