Found on the Internet: While things often change dramatically from year to year in the National Football League, Love will face only three defenses that finished in the top 10 last season, and those teams (Denver, New Orleans, and Tampa Bay) all had losing records. Conversely, the former Utah State star will go up against a half-dozen defenses that finished in the bottom 10 in 2022, including two games each with Chicago, Detroit, and Minnesota. Like many young quarterbacks, Love tends to make the majority of his mistakes when under pressure. The 14 defenses he’ll face next season averaged 35 sacks a year ago. The league average was just over 41. If the Packers’ offensive line stays healthy, he should have time to throw most weeks.
Actual good analysis from Rodney without his usual "pouty" prose. This time he gave us just the facts, ma'am just the facts.
@ByRyanWood: David Bakhtiari’s thoughts on love: “I think love is a very powerful mechanism that can really bring the team together.”
And on Jordan Love?
“I think Jordan is a very powerful mechanism that can really bring a team together.”
Add the LT to those enjoying the word play.
Good old 69.....He's on this train!
I think it's really important this year to have that OL stay healthy. If that happens, I believe they can make the playoffs.
Clearly Bakh came up with that idea after reading all our song titles. Be proud X4.
I expect Love to get a ton of support from fans and teammates. I knew once Rodgers was traded plenty of stories we weren't hearing would come out. When Favre left many fans were upset and wanted TT's hide. I think sentiment is different towards Rodgers as Love comes across as exactly the opposite. I have a feeling as more comes out we'll see Rodgers wasn't very popular in the locker room and that's why he had to handpick, and piss away, a few roster spots.
Every Jordan Love throw will face considerable scrutiny until he proves himself, but that's good for us in a lot of ways.

Good example: @PeteDougherty talked to Jayden Reed about what looked like a bad miss and it turned out Reed slipped on the route.
That's useful context.
time to cut Reed

We are about to switch from blaming every Arod incompletion on wrong WR routes, to every JLo incompletion being a perfect example of his incompetence? NICE!!!
I don't really care much about completion percentage in OTAs. Love's footwork looks clean and he looks decisive in the bits I've seen. Watson's still fighting the ball, but his hand placement looks better in videos. Musgrave looks like there's no carryover from the injuries when he runs. That's the encouraging stuff from OTAs, as boring as it is.
I said this a while back, but while I don't think Love can match Rodgers as a thrower, I think he can surpass him as a leader and as a person. I would gladly accept a drop in talent if it comes with Starr-like leadership.
He's got a solid floor. Every person to a man seems to think highly of his character. The ceiling is unknown. The last two QBs had delusional egos that drove them to succeed and demand excellence of their teammates under the most hopeless scenarios. 10 doesn't seem to be that kind of guy (yet) . He seems to have a personality that meshes with MLF's approach. It's super positive by both, but that doesn't always lead to success. So much of the league is digging out of bad situations and overcoming anyway. Someone is going to need to take charge when everything looks upside down and lead everyone else through the fire. No way to know until the time comes.

And a Super Bowl.
Love may or may not be talented as TOG/TOOG, but, either way, the team can be more talented than both.

Don’t underestimate the throwing abilities of that boy.
Lol. You just called him “boy.”

Multiple Lombardi 🏆🏆🏆 trophies.
Peyton Manning is a Hall Of Fame QB but he sure wasn’t playing at a HOF level in his final Super Bowl year.
Elite defenses. Unless something changes, we’re in trouble if we need an elite defense to win another SB.
Love will win a superbowl for us. And it'll happen before the Vikings win their first.

Manning was terrible in that game.
The Broncos won that year because they have two Hall of Famers rushing the passer (Demarcus Ware and Von Miller) and because Cam Newton was too chicken to dive on a fumble.

What killed me is that third and long where his coach wouldn't put the ball in his hands, as if he was Jimmy G.

Business decision?

I for one am cool with a game manager type of QB. Don't get me wrong its awesome having HOF QBs but I want a guy who plays within the system as its designed and just wins. No more hero ball and pouting when things don't go right.

Unfortunately for Cam, you can't even argue that.
Cam signed his big-money extension (5 years/105 million/30 million guaranteed) on June 2, 2015.

That Super Bowl was 8 months later. He'd already gotten his money.

Same here and that's what I think MLF's offense is designed for. Not hero balls on 3rd and 2.
Or 40 yard bomb attempts on 4th and 3
