Disappointed in Demovsky writing an article saying Browns job is a better job than Green Bay. That's a first for him. Must need a ton of clicks or something.

It was Pete Dougherty's, trying to stir the pot. I'm sure there are some looking for HC gig that would see it like that. Those aren't the ones we want.

It's hard to fathom this with our green and gold glasses on but if you take them off, Cleveland right now is damn good situation. Yes, Haslem has been an issue but I don't think we are so certain about our main decision maker yet…

There is some hope for Haslem if he's been ok with Dorsey running the show now and with his moves so far.

JAX would also be an attractive job if they can settle their QB situation.

Who wouldn't want to work for an owner who had to pay a 92 million dollar settlement out for fraud. Sounds like a guy you can really trust.

Or a president

Rodgers is not the problem. He hasn’t been the problem. He’s never going to be the problem. WATCH THE FILM! This offense was dying a slow death by self afflicted asphyxiation.

There isn’t a smart coach that hasn’t given serious thought of Rodgers and an actual scheme (and a real staff) of hoisting a Lombardi Trohpy the last week. Philbins best shot at a Lombardi could and should have happened 3 weeks ago. Joe put a FB on the roster today to give everyone something else to think about. Can’t help but wonder if he’s been requesting this for a while now and anything else?

Regarding the question if the Browns HC job might be better than the opportunity of coaching Rodgers? If you asked anyone that question 6 weeks ago you’d be Skip Bayless. If you’re still asking it you aren’t far removed from Skip Bayless.

Rodgers wants 3 Lombardi’s. He wants more trophies in Lambeau than Starr or Favre. He virtually screamed that after the Championship loss in Atlanta. “Everyone needs to be on board from day one”.

That was a perfect pass to one of the best ever who made an amazing play.   Not the same as leaving him completely uncovered like Capers did.  Not the same as watching HaHa jump 2 seconds too soon and give up a soul crushing 2 pt conversion to Seattle.  Or wa

You love McVince and everything about McVince and since there is a new guy actually coaching correctly that makes you sad.  Rodgers is a cancer, Pettine is horrible, the front office sucks (Murphy does sucks) and McVince has been martyred.

Got it.

I could see McCarthy coming back to the packers in about 6 or 7 years after the board fires Murphy, gets rid of the triangle of authority by firing Ball and Gute, hires another president from within, hires Eliot Wolf as GM, drafts a QB with the 1st pick in the draft and hires Lazarus McCarthy to lead them back to the playoffs.

Well he married a Green Bay native (actually a member of the Kress family, one of the wealthiest families in the city).  So while he might not be back to coach, I suspect he'll be back to Green Bay alright.

As posted in the other thread, he took out the full page ad in the Press Gazette yesterday bidding farewell.  I think he's rooted.  Green Bay grows on you that way.

The first mistake was trying to have Capers cover any NFL player. He’s an old man.

Winston Moss was just on the set of FOX Sports.

Didn't hear it as I'm in a bar with the sound turned down. Did he rip on the Packers? Or play it cool?

Didn’t see it. But sounds like he said his tweet was directed at the fans in Green Bay not at anyone in the organization. Made a joke that Rodgers has been coaching the team for the last 9 years.

Moss should have been fired a long time ago.

I still find both the hiring and the firing of Moss odd. I never understood what his job was in the coaching structure and cannot remember any useful quote from him or comment about him from his players.

so, “I can’t help you there”.
