They'll be lucky to win 7 games total, same as last year.

It's compelling to see how 8 will handle the rest of the season if this is the end. He's clearly injured and it's limited him in a number of ways. It won't be different next year. It's up to him to come to terms and decide how he wants to play it out.
I'm sure he doesn't want to engage in a retirement tour, but I wish for himself he was having more fun. He always spoke about the brotherhood of players. He'd go a long way to repairing his reputation if he acknowledged his dreams of retiring after winning a championship are dwindling but he's respectful of the Jets giving him an opportunity and he wants to make the best of a bad situation by helping the young guys become the best versions of themselves for the future he won't be a part of. He's been living a bit of the scrooge arc. The season so far has been the night of Christmas eve. It's a game. It's supposed to be fun. Finish it with joy.

Let's be clear, Rodgers wanted to be traded to the Jets. Adams wanted to be traded to the Raiders. These guys made their beds and now they have to lie in them.
They desperately wanted out of a franchise that does things the right way because they perceived some slights from the Packers, well this is what happens when you get your wish.
The Packers moved on from their best two players and didn't miss a beat. Those two players are now wasting away their waning careers on a poverty franchise like the Jets. You reap what you sow.
Just turn it all over to Rodgers.

You seem to forget to mention not only did they demand to be traded to two of the worst franchises over the last 35+ years and be traded FROM one of the greatest franchises over that same period time PLUS the history of the league itself, they gave up on such a great opportunity for the rest of their careers. Fuck Adams! Fuck Rodgers! I donβt feel sorry for those two asswipes whatsoever ππ½π‘ππ½
Packer fans scorned! Goodness.
I have no issues with their wanting out of GB. I'll hold on to very fond memories of them both. Regardless of their greatness it turned out for the better for the team. That's all that matters to me.

True. Just ask Greg Jennings and his sister.

I don't feel nearly the ill will towards Adams as compared to Rodgers. Adams was approaching his last big contract and the Packers came in low. Rodgers, on the other hand, was a whiny batch since the day they drafted Love. That chip on his shoulder became a Boulder and turned him even flakier.
I thought the Packers offered more π€
Nobody hates former Packer legends like Packer fans.
It's a bit ridiculous.

I donβt have any issue with either of them wanting out, but it never seemed to me like AR was βall inβ during his last season in Green Bay. Could just be his βall inβ isnβt what it used to be. That certainly seems to be the case this season. Either way, Iβm glad heβs gone.
I hated to see Adams go but it was probably for the best. Gute did a fantastic job (imo) drafting WRs last year and there already arenβt enough passes to spread around the current group. Adams most definitely would have required lots of passes and that wold have slowed the progress of the rest.
Plus $$$$$
JJ Watt has about had enough of all the bullsh*t
Who hasnβt.
Cayenne pepper water. He may feel great, but he's been playing like shit.

Kevin King?
Thats what the ghee is for.
To me its like watching Willie Mays in his final daysβ¦.
Joe Namath, he certainly was not in ARβs orbit, he was a star who was going to take the Rams to the promised land. I recall watching him on Monday Night Football, he could not move, could not make throws and looked like Methuselah.
Honestly, I appreciate everything Rodgers and Adams did for my favorite team over the years. But, ultimately they both wanted out and they got what they wished for and now they have to deal with how it all turned out.
IMHO this allowed a franchise reset to get the cap right and to have Gute remake the roster for the long run. It sucks moving on from favorite players but I do like the direction this team is headed.

Now he was an old guy! Rodgers has a few centuries to catch up! π
