We can pretty much put this in bold type and lock this thread down. Would love an athletic TE. But ILB absolutely has to get resolved.

Interesting analysis on Packers offseason to-do list from PFF I'd be shocked if Hayward came back. He can't play on the outside and we drafted 2 guys high last year that look like big time players down the road. You already paid Shields and can't forget about Gunter. You can never have too many good DBs but you also can't overpay. I like the idea of keeping Perry and letting Neal walk, I just don't see it happening. I just don't think Perry likes being a 3-4 OLB. Not much to support that...

Over the last few months there seems to be more and more skepticism over some of the evaluations done by Pro Football Focus. I've read some very negative comments about some of their ratings. Personally, I'm not a subscriber so I really can't say one way or the other. Heyward is one of those that is interesting, because Pro Football Focus praises him but frankly most of the writers that cover the Packers just don't seem that impressed. I think McGinn gave Heyward one of the lowest grades of...

OK...Many good points on ILB discussion. Can I add TE to this thread, and no, it's not about Henry or Hooper. I'd like to know what you think of Jerrel Adams. He could be a 3rd or 4th rounder. Anyone see him play, and could he be a good fit for the Packer offense?

Trader Ted Mock Draft Dallas gets #27 (1st), #88 (3rd)...Green Bay gets #34 (2nd), #67 (3rd), #189 (6th) #27 comes up and OLB-Emmanuel Ogbah, DT-Vernon Butler, OLB-Noah Spence, OG-Cody Whitehair, DT-Austin Johnson, DT-Kenny Clark and DE-Chris Jones are all left on the board. Thompson could live with taking any of those players with the Packer's first pick in the draft. This scenario also has QB-Paxton Lynch making it to #27. If that happens or not probably depends on the Rams. If the Rams...

If you agree to it, I will PM you with my name if you will PM me with yours, we can jointly write to your tribal elders, have them review this thread, and let them weigh in on whether they think there are a bunch of racist assholes here. If they agree, I'll report on that and I can assure you my friends here will apologize. Deal?

Guys, there's no point in blocking a thread hijacker if you keep quoting him. I don't have any time for attention whores. You know, I don't find this stuff amusing anymore (name the song). It's a game nobody wins, so I don't play. I'm here for Packer football. I like this draft. I think we get a defensive starter at 27 and another (either DL or LB) day 2. Can't wait, though I'll be working until 10 Thursday night. Would not be surprised by three bruisers (2 DT and 1 LT)

2018 NFL DRAFT Viewing Thread

Good evening ladies, Against the advice of my lawyers and therapists, I am once again operating all NFL Draft viewing operations for Timesfour. Somehow, between the constant negging/second guessing of seasoned professional talent evaluaters, the bland yammering of Kiper/McShay/Mayock/Dez/Bongya, and cringing every time some Hooray Henry Texans fan gets invited up to the podium to butcher the name of a 5th round pick, my love of copypasting and embedding Youtube videos with rap songs pretty...

From the 6th round thread: ”Equanimeous (a form of equanimity, meaning to stay calm and cool under pressure) played in seven games as a freshman (one catch, eight receiving yards, blocked punt against USC), missing the final four with a shoulder injury. He and Deshone Kizer formed an alliance in 2016, however, allowing him to use his tall frame, huge catching radius, and long strides to lead the Irish with 58 receptions, 961 yards, and nine receiving touchdowns. Notre Dame's passing game...

Parse out your angst about the past & present regimes (Poppinga's comments)

I live close to Columbus and I have the misfortune of seeing most O$U games. Lee is an OL and probably is a little to light to play ILB in the NFL. He is extremely fast and could be a nice compliment to Clay if he goes back outside.

I understand that teams play their defenses differently which dictates what they want from each position but Carolina's LBers, Kuechly & Davis are only listed at 235, Lee is listed at 228. Cards play Bucannon as essentially a LBer at 218 lbs. I think players like Lee & Cravens from USC would be coveted by Dom, since they have a varied skill set & can be moved around the field.

He doesn't play like he's 230 though, he plays like he's 215. He's closer to Deone Buchanan than he is Luke Keuchly. Would you put Deone Buchanan at ILB full time? Arizona doesn't do that, he plays more of a Rover that doesn't fill gaps and take on OL. Lee's not aggressive like an ILB either, he reminds me of Julian Peterson really. Exceptional athlete, but not a thumper. More of an athlete than football player right now. Why would Dom covet a small LB/big Safety? He has two Safeties that...
