This Brown thing bothers me on a lot of levels. I’m not able to communicate though in the way I’d like. The one thing I think though even though I don’t want to admit is that NE has built a “system” I’m envious of. Not that it’s the GB of the Lombardi era, but essentially it is. They have the rings I want and players go there to be resurrected.

When I watch all those Lombardi/Packers films and want to recreate those “glory days” I realize NE is it. Not washing balls. Just being honest.

That said, I would love to meet them in the SB and kick their ass. That would bring me reprise.

Edit: it would just make me ****ing happy. I tried to use a big word that I thought I knew the meaning of. I need to stop trying to talk like Sugar Ray Leonard.

I bet he's a model prisioner for a year, re- signs and goes back to turd mode.

Without seeing the details of his contract, I would hypothsize there is a poison pill in there should he continue in his current dumb-a$$ mode.

Honest take.  Look, most people find reasons to hate the Patriots but the bottom line is they are a stellar organization that everybody is envious of.

We all know what's going to happen here.  AB is going to go there, be a model citizen and win a bunch of football games.  Love him or hate him, BB has a way of making wayward players fit into his structured system.  It's the exact reason why there was a lot of talk about AB going to the Patriots for the past week.

I recently saw an interview with Gronkowski where he stated that nobody is treated like a superstar in that organization.  Not him.  Not Brady.  Nobody.

Do your job.

When you have Hoodie’s clout this is how I imagine conversations with shitbags like Brown.  “Get your ****ing head out of your ass or you’ll be catapulted into the NFL wasteland.  Anyone with your traits getting ejected from the last stop haven isn’t going to play anywhere else.  Welcome to the team punk ass bitch”.

I’d pay money to hear that conversation.  Maybe Theilen can open his suck again for our entertainment.

They win trophies because they sign everybody and anybody available. Pan out and you're a champion. Bust out and you're cut. Why doesn't any other team do this? Instead the other 31 presuppose if you're a good fit or not.

Exactly. Hoodie is probably the only HC who could set such parameters for the diva set. In that way very much like Lombardi. And there's past practice that bears out both ends of such an ultimatum. Just depends on whether Brown can recognize it. Won't keep me from rooting for it to blow the f up, though.

They do everything & anything including cheating, skirting the rules, **** with the other teAms headsets on the sidelines, spy on other teams, hack other teams computers, pay Brady under the table, dual receivers in Brady's helmet. The laundry list is long & it's why they've been "punished" by the league numerous times for the discretions they've been caught with.

Other than "winning championships" (***) They are not close to the virtuous Packers of the 60's.

Not. ****ing. Close

Antonio Brown is now playing on Monday.

Gruden says...."They've moved on."

The guess here is Mayock & Gruden disagree on AB's discipline....but surprise surprise....Gruden has the final say.

What a complete shit show

If I were Mayock, I'd resign.  Gruden obviously doesn't have his back.

I don't think Gruden had a choice any longer. Mayock probably along with Bowl-Cut figured out they need to protect their financial interest & after Brown lost his guarantees (via fines) the Raiders lose nothing salary wise. Mayock basically made a power play& said "him or me. This guy isn't about football & thinks he's bigger than the team"

I can see Bowl-Cut looking at Gruden like {Do something!} So Gruden made the only decision he could & that was release A. Brown. If Mayock quit, Gruden is basically PT Barnum running a traveling carnival.

This type of stuff is exactly why Gruden didn't want to come back & coach. He had his comfy job in the announcers booth making $6 million a year.

It took a ridiculous offer of $100 Million to get Gruden back on the sidelines. I'll bet Gruden  is wondering if it's worth the extra $50 Million over 10 years. 😆

One more reason to hate the Patriots.

Reason #523.      Wait till Gronk unretires

Depends on how quickly he could get back on the juice .... he has "slimmed down" by changing his diet, yah right

This is the kind of shit that keeps me from actually having any respect for Belichek.  It’s now being reported that Brown sought out social media consultants to get a release and surprise!, immediately signs a contract with the Patriots.  Mortensen reported there was plenty of interest but most GMs already knew the jig was up.

He basically already had the contract in hand.  Brown basically colluded with the Patriots.

Hard to vindicate that kind of continued underhand bullshit.

No....he really isn't & it's very debatable. Unless you consider cheating not debatable.

Winning = money & it doesn't matter if we cheat to get the wins.

Agree. I don’t like the guy but you can’t argue with what he has accomplished. He’s the best

9 Super Bowl Appearances (NFL Record).  6 Super Bowl wins (NFL Record).  31 playoff wins (NFL Record). 3x NFL Coach of the Year.

He also won two Super Bowls as a Defensive Coordinator.

The only debatable topic surrounding BB is if he is the best NFL coach in the history of the league.

I guess I gave you too much credit.

He cheats. Plain & simple. He isn't a genius.... he's a jeeenyous.

Whatever it takes....if that Includes wire-tapping opposing teams. Sure! Putting a double speaker in Brady's helmet! Hell yeah. Where do you think Pete C got the idea for Russell Wilson? Skirt the salary cap. Absolutely! Record hand signals & Down/Distance creating DVD's of each team. Of course! Let's not forget having spies record closed practices of the Panthers before the Super Bowl so he knew exactly what new twists the Panthers had ready for him.

Read between the lines instead of looking at simply Super Bowl titles & what media tells you.

If you want to reward that as "best ever". Have at it -- but I never will

Please tell me you're not foolish enough to believe that BB is the only coach that does stupid shit to get an edge on the opponent.

His record speaks for itself.  You can discredit it in your mind all you want.  He will go down as one of best coaches the league has ever seen.

Welp, since my Mom taught me if I don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all, I guess I'll just paste this here:

Well you’re in the minority as BB will go down as the best ever because he is. As Packer fans we would like to believe otherwise but the numbers show reality

Look at his defensive scheme in the SB against the Rams.  Took their coach right out of the game.  He admitted as much.

I’m guessing the Pats had the Rams game plan less than a half hour after the Rams finished it....

or they had video tape of every Ram pre-Super Bowl practice...

or the Pats brainwashed the Ram coaches into creating the game plan the Pats wanted (I could just see BB handing McVay a queen of diamonds)...

or the Pats used time travel technology to replay every play till they got the desired result...

or the deal with the devil is still in full effect...

"He can take his'un and beat your'un and take your'un and beat his'un." I think if Lombardi had a chance to completely finish his career, he might have been the best ever. But, Belichek, like him or not, is the best today without a doubt. A key will be what BB does when Brady finally retires -- although BB may retire as well knowing it may not be replicable.

This has been going on for years and years in NE.

This is probably the most accurate thing.  I really think BB sold his soul years agi to the devil or he is really Bealzebub himself.

In other news, the Pats waive Lance Kendricks and the Steelers sign Jayrone Elliott.
