Wilson is 5'11" | Brees is 6'0"

This dude at 5'9" is a bay shrimp & will get killed.

I PRAY somebody drafts him before pick #12. That would be helpful!

Brees is maybe 6'. But ya, 5'9" is small by Johnny Z standards.

A's drafted him. I think he's pretty much throwing his hat into the NFL ring to see how much 💰 shakes out for him.

I'd almost bet he goes to MLB - definitely have a longer career & most assuredly make more 💰 💰💰 in MLB

Alabama DT Quinnen Williams declared for the draft. Top 10 pick I think.

would love this guy, but ya, he will be gone unless there are teams 1-11 picking need rather than best available, all I keep hearing is that the draft is deep in dl, well, i say pick the best of the litter and go from there...

I'm leery of the Bama guys.  Seems like they never reach same level in NFL as they did at Bama.  Maybe Saban wears them out.

May be completely crazy but due diligence on this guy would be smart.  Short or not, that guy is mad scientist OC type of material.

LOLOL!

Minnesota Vikings: Jonah Williams, OT, Alabama
The Vikings overpaid for Kirk Cousins, so now they have to transition from a defensive team to an offensive one. An improved offensive line will allow Cousins to survive until Week 17, when he can once again choke with a playoff bid on the line.

Same group predicts the Vikes will be picking FIFTH in the 2020 draft. Us 15th and Cardinals 29th....

If Gute packaged both 1st's to get Ferrell I wouldn't be upset. That said, I think we can bring in UFA's to shore up OLB and use our 1st rounders on other positions. I'd prefer we try and bolster depth, but Ferrell is a game changer IMO.

But again, pass rushers get overpaid in free agency  and this is a draft strong in them (and weak at top-shelf OTs). So WTF should they overpay for what's likely to be middling talent (I highly doubt Clowney and Ford make it anywhere near free agency, and would be ridiculously expensive if they did) when they have a chance to draft a dynamic guy or two who will also be on rookie contracts?

IOW: The team needs dynamic playmakers, so why settle for overpaid mediocrity when you actually have the chance at cheaper greatness? It's galactically stupid not to take advantage of a draft that's strong in a need area that's also high demand year-after-year.

Shop where the value is.  The draft is where you're going to rebuild the core of your team so play to its strengths (quit ****ing drafting safeties) and load up on mid tier FA.  Having Bak, Lindsey and Buluga goes a long ways in making mid tier FA Olinemen more than satisfactory while still being able to get a competent pick in early mid rounds.  They need to draft a guy with a legit shot of being a super star on that defense.

Again, if they ignore oline I will shit a brick.

Calamari will make a damn fine slot WR like Cobb out of Kentucky

I think he can be a lot more than that.  He's got a legit arm.  He'd be like the QB version of Darren Sproles.

I've seen a mock having him go at #1 and another having him go at #3. I think he is a top 5 pick.

Based on this article, I'd say the vikes draft a QB:

I could see them taking a jitterbug player, either RB or receiver, though if Rodney Anderson or Zack Moss fall it might be intriguing.

I like David Montgomery, Bryce Love and Josh Jacobs, for various reasons, and Love could be the speedster.

Nothing, especially Jones. It could be upgraded though I’d imagine.

I have this hunch.....

  1. Fix the O-Line
  2. Acquire Le'Veon Bell

It's pieces of the puzzle.  It makes sense, especially with the new guy.

Guess we'll find out....but 1 thing I know for sure. Gutey isn't afraid to go get a guy in FA. So the Pack has that going for it.....which is nice.

I believe #2 WR is already on the roster. (MVS or ESB or Geronimo), did ya forget about him? I didn't.

There's 2 portions of drafting...the 2nd is development.

If this offense is going to get "fixed" a guy like Bell would "fix it" while the Pack still has Jones & Williams for depth.
