I'm well over 90% accurate with my picks for the last 7 years through the 3rd round, just subscribe to my blog
Just tell me where to send the coin bits.
I've only got kilocoins. Can you make change?
Yes - I have Megathereum
Uintatherium BB?
If one of the Iowa TE's is available by the third pick, it will be a dream
I keep reading great things about that Noah Fant kid.... If we can land that kid at the end of R1 I'd be ok with that.

Where does saints pick land for us now? 29 or 30?

We get the 30th pick https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/...-to-super-bowl-liii/
That 30th pick is a great place to trade down. Some team will see a player they want to lock for 5yrs (probably a QB needy team) and GB can turn that pick into 2 or 3 in rounds 2-3.
Drop down 10-15 spots and get a 2nd, 3rd and maybe another 3rd (or 2nd next year). That's what the Eagles got last year trading out of spot 32. Then GB would have a 1st, (2) 2nds, (2) 3rds and (2) 4ths.
And they need them.
If we trade down with the second first round pick to get more draft picks, I'd like to see Devin White taken with our pick at 12. White is the best LB on the board and can play everywhere. He can also pass rush. So if we are going to trade away our second pick in the first, I'd go with the best guy at 12 and that, IMO, is Devin White. I love Ferrell, too, but White would be great for us. This could be a very fun draft for GB fans.

I mentioned White a few pages back. I agree and would be ecstatic with him as the pick at 12....trouble is i think he might go before then. He's that good.

I'm all for grabbing some extra picks but not sure I'd want to drop back that far. How far did Philly drop for that deal?
With the early rounds being pretty deep, I thin I'd rather trade the #12 pick if the right deal came along. I'm thinking something like they did last year with the Saints. Drop from 12 to maybe the late teens/early 20s and pick up another First Rounder next year. Don't know if that type of deal would come along, but two #1s next year would be great.
Time will tell if the Saints made the right trade as Davenport is still an unknown. From the Packers perspective, they gambled (a bit) and the Saints just had a fantastic season. Overall, I think it will turn out to be a really good trade for GB as JA looks solid.
I think Davenport has looked as good for NO as Alexander has looked for GB. Not yet consistent but has shown flashes.
At this point Gutes needs to start knocking draft picks out of the park. If staying at 15 helps him do that, swing away. It will all depend on who they have targeted and where they think he fits.
Obviously have to weigh trade offers. Pack already has 10 picks in this draft, go get some difference makers.

This issue with this is two-fold:
1. It's a good year for pass rushers, which doesn't happen often.
2. Alexander played well enough, but they also passed on Derwin James and Tremaine Edmunds, who were stellar as rookies (and also turned out to be needs) while maneuvering for a need.
If a Josh Allen is sitting there at #12 (or maybe even Devin White), take him. Screw two #1s next years, that's not a payoff when you're just deferring the extra pick and dropping past potentially great players for good ones.
I'm not down with trading back unless there are no players there that meet the value of the pick. GB needs difference makers first and foremost... Take a shot at greatness and make a pick. We already have 10 picks, no?

I guess I should clarify my post. Clearly if a player is there the brass thinks is a can’t miss, difference maker, the type of player not availble 5-10 picks later, certainly use the pick.
My thought was really when comparing trading their first 1st rounder as opposed to the second 1sr rounder.
Two picks between 15-30 and two more 1sts next year could be pretty appealing. But I’ll leave the picking/trading to Gutekunst.
don't like trading back in the first, keep the picks and make them your guys. all there is to it, we need good players not more players, i get that more picks raises the odds, but just pick your guys and don't be "the smartest guy in the room"
I think a lot will depend how the draft board plays out for Gute and who is on the phone with him trying to make a deal. The dude is aggressive so who knows how things will play out.
PKR North, I am with you and that you don't make deals to be the smartest guy in the room. If you make deals with the current draft in mind to plug the holes in this roster and quickly.

I would have said we could pick Josh Allen at #12 but I feel he would be gone by the 5th pick. Devin White might be just enough under the radar to be there at 12. Here's hoping Gute is raring to go!
Oh Gute will be raring to go and be uber aggressive on draft day. There is a new sheriff in town and I think we will really like what he does in the draft.
with how they mocked the draft falling out, that trade down makes sense.
The trade down does, the pick does not, IMO. As this rolls, they miss out on all the top pass rushers for an Alabama safety and a TE. Rankings being about equal, TE is the position I'd guess they'd pass on early.
The heck with the Bama Safety, I want the kid from Delaware.
Adderly, Chauncey Garner-Johnson or Abram would be my choice also.

kind of how i am soured on de's from fsu...just went and watched adderly's highlights, and wow, he does have juice, kind of ja highlights last year. i like it. just mute the video to avoid the attack on phil collins.

Sounds like the Raider staff is really liking coaching Adderley. With them having three first round picks, wouldn't be surprised to see them grab him late in the first.
Lots of praise for Debo Samuel and Penny Hart at the senior bowl this week. Packers meeting with Hart.

But teams saw him in Mobile make the catches; win the routes; and they know that his quickness and motor will translate when the ball is in his hands. They won’t throw away his tape just because of a strong week, but they will wonder: what’s the floor with this kid? A great gadget player who can turn manufactured touches into homerun plays — and that’s as a returner as well. That’s a Round 5 or 6 selection every day of the week.
And in Mobile, he proved that he could be more: A starting slot, who can win downfield and in the underneath areas. A regular staple for 11 personnel teams. An absolute problem — a nightmare and a half — for teams without a strong nickel corner.
Penny Hart is the biggest riser of the week, and he was a healthy groin or a recovered knee away from never making it here at all.
Comparing Hart, Isabella, and Hunter Renfrow is a tricky proposition — three different levels of football, and three different players. Bickering about Hart and Isabella’s relative quickness is of no interest to me — what is of interest to me is how Hart took a glimmer of opportunity and twisted, snapped, and shimmied his way into NFL front-offices. Scouts did their homework on him, and we did too: Penny Hart is the real freakin’ deal.
Not a fan of Hart. Love the quicks, but man, he dropped a lot of balls in Mobile this week.
Tape doesn't lie
Which his 2018 tape also shows a number of drops. The guy's great with the ball in his hands, but I'd rather not spend a pick before the 6th on the guy.

Sweat moving up some draft boards but Polite might be the better option for Green Bay with the 3-4 defense.
You can teach a guy to catch, guys with this kind of natural speed and quickness are NOT a-dime-a-dozen.
Adderley is one of the best DBs in Mobile and WR Penny Hart got him pretty good with that controlled burst.

...and if he can't catch. He's Willie Gault or Bill Schroeder. No thanks.
I'd rather switch him to DB ala Sam Shields if they draft him.
Drops were listed as an issue with MVS pre-draft and I don’t remember him struggling with hands this year? What did he have, 2 drops?
