Fair assessment. I think Big Ern gets manhandled at times, particularly pass protection, which sends Rodgers scrambling. Winters was tougher in my opinion. Campen and Big Ern are birds of a feather. Overall, they play as a unit. I honestly expect to see

A little less than TJ Lang money would be about right. If Big Ern (after 4 years ) has the mental aspect figured out to go along with his below average pass protection and improving run blocking then make the contract reasonable while Tretter/future

chemistry. Give it a bit more time... I'll feel better when I see a steady run game against defenses scheming to stop the run. Big Ern is more serviceable than Saturday in the run game but then that was never Saturday's strong suit and considering the pass happy

Big Ern in the red zone with the dagger. I've graduated him to average/borderline capable starter. His pass protection is still weak but you can win a Superbowl with a good scheme and balanced offense. Showed some signs of life on running for tough yards

link like Big Ern can't be afforded but he defaulted into the position. Campen isn't taking guys that come in as rookies and show good stuff and polishing them up to a higher level. You might as well look at draft scouting reports to see what you're going to

My take is Campen and Big Ern are two peas on a pod. I'm sure they have the best intentions, etc. but they just don't develop. 4 years plus and they are the same player/coach and they are maxing out at "adequate". I fully support the idea of developing
